Karthik Aryan pulls in this thriller drama. Well, sort of.
While in some scenes he does appear like Karthik Aryan playing Akshay Kumar playing Freddy. But that’s becoming his whole schtick at the moment, and it’s still fun.
A good night’s viewing. Actors act well. Production quality is average. Not that the movie needed it. But most locations looked similar. To the point where the had to mention the location at the bottom for certain locations (but not all of them).
YFX: There was a song that showed Freddy buying balloons and then floating away (metaphorically), which had some weird cuts that showed his shirt inflate and deflate.
Some of the scenes looked like people have been smoking on the set.
The movie is well-paced. Karthik Aryan is clearly the lead, but Alaya F carries her role really well. She maintains the emotional pace of the movie.
Freddy is a slow burner with an abrupt finish but a complete story.
Watch it for the plot. Watch it for the acting.
