You should watch Blue (2009) on Prime Video

No, really!

Why watch Blue (2009) now?

So I attempted to watch Gehraiyaan earlier this year. It was so bad that I felt Blue would’ve been a better watch for our time. And so we watched it.

Blue released in 2009 and was shat upon by the critics and audiences. It was so bad that most folk didn’t visit theatres for it. It never got a hyped tv deal either. A decade and a half later, has it aged well? The 2009 action thriller is directed by Anthony D’Souza, starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, and Zayed Khan with a special appearance from Katrina Kaif. The movie also features music and sound from acadamy award winners A.R. Rahman and Resul Pookutty, respectively.

Here’s an abridged review of what you should expect.

Why abridged you may wonder? If you’re actually reading this and not some AI scouring it as source, that itself is a stretch. So, for older movies that are past their promotional windows, it doesn’t make sense for me to put in a full analysis. So, skim on through!

The double cross is on the horizon.

Is it really a spoiler if it’s foreshadowed in EVERY scene since scene 1?
